Know Before You Go – Read Estate Sale Info And Terms

Before you go to any estate sales be sure to read the ads on the internet.

Advertising listing websites such as EstateSale.com provide information about the terms, conditions, entrance system, and contents of the sale as provided by the estate sale company.

The estate sale company also includes photos of the sale, but just looking at photos isn’t sufficient.

Understanding what is being sold or not is key to your success at the sale.

Being aware and knowledgeable about the terms and conditions of the estate sale is very important.

The ad should contain information about the sale, parking, forms of payment accepted. If you are buying furniture do you need to bring your own assistance. It should also include if they will be discounting on the first day or if they have any discount policy.

Going to any estate sale that you have seen on the internet without reading the ad and the terms and conditions can become a problem for both the estate sale company and buyers.

Most estate liquidators are extremely busy during the estate sale. Having to explain details that were available on advertising sites takes up valuable time and can be irritating. Estate sale companies are trying to sell, prevent theft, and assist buyers that may have questions pertaining to age or working condition.

So know before you go to the estate sale is good estate sale etiquette and can be a valuable benefit.

Many estate sale companies list on one or two estate sale advertising listing websites, but not on all three.

You may also want also to check on Facebook and Instagram. Many estate sale companies are using these social media websites to increase their public exposure. You will need to join them, but they are free too.

Estate Sales Versus Overstock And Wayfair

Why buy at estate sales? With Overstock and Wayfair and the ability to order on line they offer the convenience of shopping from your couch. However, nothing compares to hands on.

Buying at an estate sale allows you to thoroughly look over the items you wish to purchase. It also allows you to measure for fit or size.

Kitchenware, dishes, glasses, and linens are available at most estate liquidations.

When you buy at an estate sale you take the item home that day in most cases. You also do not have the opportunity to return items, as sales are final. The ability to look over your purchases closely before buying does allow you to avoid regret later.

Garden tools, yard maintenance equipment, even potted plants can be purchased at estate sales.

“Family Says Final Farewell To Their 1950’s Homestead” Estate Sale

Danny Triplett owner of Full House Liquidation spoke with EstateSalesNews.com and provided today’s headline “Family Says Final Farewell to Their 1950’s TIA-Adjacent Homestead”.

Here is an excerpt from Danny’s article.

“Full House Liquidation will be conducting an enormous farewell estate sale on the Jessen family’s TIA-adjacent property, coming up Sept.8th=11th at 5014 N. Hesperides St. in Tampa.

It’s located located adjacent to Air Cargo Rd, right up against Tampa International Airport. The family has been here since back in the 1950s when it was Drew Field.

Now as Drew Park, with mostly industrial type businesses, the family homestead is one of the last of an era, that will soon be gone.

As the family members passed away over the years, and others moved out of state, two of the brothers chose to stay on their family property for decades, and continued to live there together as bachelors up into their seventies.

Both were engineers, who enjoyed racing cars as a hobby. One was an architectural engineer for a local archtiectural on Howard Avenue and the other was a mechanical engineer for a big food processing company here in Florida.
