Rolling Thunder – A Memorial Day Tradition In Washington DC

Today as on past Memorial Day weekend Sundays, 1000’s of motorcycles ridden (many ridden by veterans) will ride from the parking lot at the Pentagon past Arlington National Cemetery across the Memorial Bridge to the Vietnam Memorial and surrounding area. Here is some footage shot in 2012 when your editor was privileged to be amongst the thousands who came to watch this honor ride and the Marine who stood and saluted as the entire parade (quite lengthy) passed. These men and women honor all those who have served and sacrificed and those who are still missing.
